About HAIOF

A framework for the operating reality of AI.

Professional, practical and independent of any particular model, platform, vendor or product.

Why it exists

AI adoption often begins with tools. Sustainable operating capability requires a clearer answer to how work, authority, knowledge, evidence, governance and human resilience fit together. HAIOF provides that structure without assuming AI is always the answer.

What it is

The Human-AI Operations Framework is a vendor-neutral operating framework for organisations designing and improving work shared by humans, AI and deterministic automation. It supports organisations of different sizes and industries and sits alongside existing legal, regulatory, privacy, security and industry obligations.

Practical operations focus

HAIOF is intended for executives, managers, engineers, analysts, support teams, operations teams, transformation professionals, risk teams and governance professionals. It uses simple language while addressing serious operating questions.

Author

Mxolisi Silabela authored the initial Core Framework and Practitioner Guide with AI-assisted development and editorial support. Both v0.1 documents were published on 1 November 2026 as working drafts for review and refinement.

Simple language. Serious thinking. Practical use.
